According to this article, a victim of human trafficking, and their child present in Iceland, may be granted a renewable residence permit for following reasons:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For reasons of the individual\u2019s personal circumstances, or&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the purpose of cooperation with the authorities in the investigation and criminal proceedings, as requested by the police&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Presumed victims who obtain a temporary residence permit are entitled to access health care and social services.
