The reception of the permit is regulated in Article 40 of the Law on the Legal Status of Foreigners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the law, a temporary residence permit may be issued or changed to an alien who is or has been a victim of trafficking in human beings or illegal employment, who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cooperates with the pre-trial investigation body or the court in offences related to trafficking in human beings or to illegal employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has worked in conditions of extreme labour exploitation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The temporary residence permit is valid for a maximum period of one year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The temporary residence permit gives the victim a right to work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Temporary residence permits In Lithuania, foreign victims of human trafficking can be entitled to a temporary residence permit.
