KOK is a registered non-profit organisation, advocating for the rights of trafficked persons and female migrants facing violence. It is a 43 member organisation\u00a0including specialised counselling centres and shelters for trafficked persons, projects working with female migrations, counselling centres working with sex workers, women\u2019s shelters and specialised safe-houses, Women\u2019s and human rights groups umbrella organisations representing charities. KOK acts as an umbrella organisations, supports its members in their day to day work through research, expertise and advocacy work. Advice on all forms of violence against women (including THB, violence within the field of prostitution and forced marriage). Available 24 hours a day, free of charge and anonymous, contacted by telephone and online via email or chat, in German and in 18 foreign languages, easy language and sign language. Aimed at all women who are affected or threatened by violence, persons in the women’s social environment and for professionals who come into contact with violence against women in their everyday work.
