The reflection and restitution period lasts up to 120 days. During this period, victims have access to support under the Danish National Action Plan to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings. Child victims of human trafficking receive similar assistance measures as adult victims in Denmark. Residence permits are granted for a period of six months, with a possibility of extension for additional periods of six months. The Danish Administration of Justice Act provides several possible measures to protect victims during the criminal procedure.
