From Riga airport to the city centre:
There are two options to get to the city from the airport by either taxi or bus.

By bus (Travel Time: Approximately 30–40 minutes):

  • Price: €1.50. if purchased directly from the driver (€2.00, card payment only).
  • Bus Route: Take Bus No. 22 from Riga Airport to the city center.
  • Stop to Get Off: Disembark at 11. novembra krastmala. This is very close to your destination.
  • How to Find the Bus: Follow the signs to the bus stop outside the arrival’s terminal.

Ticket Options:
Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine at the bus stop or Narvesen shops in the airport terminal. You’ll find them by the exit from Arrivals Hall E (1st floor) and in the Check-in Hall (2nd floor).

By Taxi (Travel Time: Approximately 15–20 minutes):

  • Price: €10–€15 to the hotel.
  • Use regular taxis or ride-hailing apps such as Bolt.
  • Pickup Location: Outside the arrivals terminal in the designated taxi area.
  • Tip: Confirm the price with the driver or use the app for transparency.

Currency and Payments

  • Latvia uses the Euro (€).
  • Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, but keep some cash for public transport or smaller shops.

Language
Latvian is the official language, but most locals, especially in Riga, speak at least basic English.
