BSRYF Structure
BSRYF operates as a dynamic network comprising youth representatives, organisations, and working groups, all collaborating to influence decision-making in the Baltic Sea Region.
The Baltic Sea Region Youth Forum is made up of four connected parts:
- The Committee of Youth Representatives (CYR): elected every year at the Election Meeting, led by the Chair.
- The Steering Group (SG): also elected, with three CYR members and two youth organisations. It advises the CYR and guides the Forum’s activities.
- Thematic Working Groups: young people who turn ideas into actions, position papers and recommendations.
- A wider youth community: members, youth councils and organisations who take part in consultations and activities.
Together, these parts make sure young people’s views reach CBSS ministerial dialogues, regional decision-making and international (youth) events and conferences. Each part has its own role in policy advocacy, event organisation and regional cooperation.
