Volunteering Tasks

Volunteering Tasks to contribute to a more youthful Baltic Sea Region.

Many young people in the Baltic Sea Region are enthusiastic, proactive, and always eager to explore new activities. If you’re one of them, or if you simply have some time at hand and want to use your skills to contribute to more effective policymaking in the Baltic Sea Region, join us!

From just a couple of minutes to several hours of research, we publish various tasks that are open for volunteers.

What is this about?

It is about giving young people the opportunity to grow and meaningfully contribute to the Baltic Sea Region without having to commit to something long-term. Sometimes, it is fun to try a new task or enhance a new skill. Other times, it can be a way to spend some alone time while feeling productive. We, the Baltic Sea Region Youth Forum (BSRYF), together with the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) share all the tasks that need to be done, and any young person from the Baltic Sea Region is welcome to “grab” that assignment.

In exchange, we provide feedback about the work you put in and help you grow your skills. For completing each task, we can offer you a certificate of participation in BSRYF activities and, if needed, verify your volunteering hours.

If one person completes enough tasks to understand the scope of their abilities, we will be able to write a recommendation letter.

An additional gain from this activity would be to learn and experience how Baltic Sea Region cooperation works and what it takes for young ideas to be heard and eventually implemented.

Don’t miss this chance to take an interesting look behind the scenes of big politics. Flexibly customisable for your schedule and according to your possibilities.

Important! Please evaluate your time carefully and only take on the tasks you will be able to complete.

It is absolutely okay to need more time if you are learning new skills, and these tasks are here for you to do so. But please make sure you will be available to complete the tasks you choose, as others will rely on you. If something unexpected happens and you are unable to complete the work, please inform us as soon as possible at [email protected].
