Countries
Country profiles for the Baltic Sea Region states.
The country profiles explain how each of the 10 CBSS Member States identifies and assists victims of human trafficking and details the rights available to them. These profiles are divided into seven thematic sections:
- Identification.
- Early and Immediate Assistance (including recovery and reflection period).
- Temporary Residence Permits.
- Pre-trial Investigation and Criminal Proceedings (including compensation).
- Long-term Assistance and Residence Permits.
- Voluntary Return and Reintegration.
- Contacts.
These sections create a step-by-step overview of the victim support process. However, you can explore them non-sequentially based on what information you need to provide effective help and protection to an individual victim.
Each country profile also includes details about special rights and procedures for trafficked children, marked with a child symbol for easy identification.
The contacts section provides information on national focal points responsible for coordinating victim assistance services.
