Voluntary return of a victim of human trafficking and reintegration

There is no specific programme for voluntary return for victims of human trafficking in Iceland. If a victim wants to return voluntarily, social services assist the victim.  The assisted return does not include a risk assessment. 

The social services can apply for a refund from the Icelandic authorities for any incurred expenses.
