Swedish Platform Civil Society against Human Trafficking

The Platform is a human rights based non-profit organization focusing on combatting human trafficking and restoring the dignity of victims of trafficking and further to work to strengthen human rights for victims. Our members are experts and NGOs with a human rights base, but with varying target groups and agendas. Noomi/Hela Människan in Malmö

Noomi is an organization in Malmö that provides support services for individuals who have been exploited in human trafficking for sexual purposes or prostitution. Noomi operates a safe house, does outreach and community work, and offers legal counselling for the target group. In addition to this, the organization has a project that focuses on providing support to individuals in Malmö’s massage parlors. Noomi also engages in knowledge dissemination and advocacy work. The organization is run by the non-profit association Hela Människan in Malmö.

The Salvation Army/Safe Havens

Safe Havens helps people who are vulnerable to all forms of human trafficking. Affected persons are informed of their rights and information about what support they are entitled to. In addition, they can provide some social support. In Stockholm, they have an open clinic. We are also in the process of starting a local business in Gothenburg. For assignments in the rest of the country, they have a mobile team and in some cases, they can also provide support remotely.
