Youth Survey: Shaping Baltic Sea Collaboration Among Youth Organisations and Young People

A new survey by the Baltic Sea Region Youth Forum (BSRYF) invites youth organisations and young people to share their priorities and concerns.

The Baltic Sea Region Youth Forum (BSRYF), supported by the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS), has launched a thematic survey to gather insights from youth councils and organisations across the Baltic Sea Region. The survey will close on 31 January 2025.

“This survey will help us understand the priorities of youth in the Baltic Sea Region,” said Simona Jakaitė, Chair of the BSRYF. “We wish to hear organisations and individuals alike, that is why our survey was created for both options separately. We at BSRYF wish to connect and we may only do so by listening to everyone first.”

The survey particularly invites organisations, including youth councils, to provide input on their priorities and areas of interest. It aims to identify opportunities for future collaboration and ensure CBSS initiatives resonate with the needs of national and regional youth councils and organisations.

The primary goals of the survey are to:

  • Understand and address the priorities of young people,
  • Identify collaboration opportunities to enhance regional youth engagement,
  • Strengthen connections among youth organisations across the Baltic Sea Region.

Youth engagement across the Baltic Sea Region is essential to building a dynamic, inclusive, and forward-looking society. However, there is a need to better understand the specific issues that matter most to young people and to establish stronger networks that support their aspirations.

The survey results will provide a clear understanding of youth priorities, enabling the BSRYF and CBSS to shape future initiatives that reflect these needs. This includes identifying collaborative opportunities and developing projects that empower youth participation in policymaking.

Take part in shaping the future of youth collaboration in the Baltic Sea Region!
