The Baltic Sea Parliamentary Youth Forum event was held in hybrid format on 11-12 June at the CBSS Secretariat with invited youth participants – representing all 10 member states of the CBSS. Four roundtable discussions were organised on different topics: Forest, wetlands and biodiversity; Innovation; Resilient cities; and Sea and coastline resilience.
Scientific excellence among young researchers in the fields of sustainable energy, eco-biotechnologies and digital growth was rewarded on 16 June at the Baltic Sea Science Day and Award For Young Scientists Ceremony 2022.
Ministers of foreign affairs and other high-level representatives from the Baltic Sea region met in Kristiansand, Norway on 25 May 2022 during the 19th Ministerial Session of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS). It was the first ministerial session of the CBSS in nine years.
