Societal Security Challenges: Drawing Lessons from Case Studies on Cyber and Information Security, Climate Change, Global Covid Pandemic, and Youth, Security & Trust

A needs analysis of the societal security culture in the BSR revealed the demand for developing demand-driven and well-tailored training and education. Case studies on four different topics were developed as basis to the learning material created in the project. The case studies are integrated in the course and can be used for other educational and crisis preparedness activities. The analyses of the cases were put in writing by students. 

The present report compiles the case studies authored by students from various universities in the Baltic Sea Region. The case studies focus on different societal security challenges and crises in the Baltic Sea Region and analyse how these are dealt with at different levels and by different actors.
