Pub. Jan 19, 2024 Published January 19, 2024

During the Baltic Sea Youth Dialogue 2023, organised for the 10th time by the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) and funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, 21 young people from across the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) gained valuable insights into the collaboration on regional and national level in the BSR. The primary focus was on enhancing collaboration among subregions and reaping the benefits thereof. The BSYD 2023 took place in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, which, as of January 2024, assumed the chairmanship of the Baltic Sea States Subregional Cooperation (BSSSC). Hosted at the Academy Center Sankelmark, a venue previously used for the 2018 Baltic Sea Youth Dialogue.

The ideas presented in this document highlight the potential for positive changes for regions already engaged or who could potentially engage in the BSSSC.
