Baltic Sea Tourism Forum 2024
The 16th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum is scheduled to take place in Oulu, Finland, on 4-5 June 2024. Registration is now open.
Since 2008, the Baltic Sea Tourism Forum (BSTF) has served as the annual forum for EUSBSR Policy Area Tourism. Its objective is to facilitate dialogue, consensus building, and the development of a shared vision regarding the key challenges of tourism development around the Baltic Sea.
This year’s forum will focus on themes such as cultural and culinary tourism, cycling, and coastal tourism. Participants can anticipate engaging keynotes, insightful case examples from the Baltic Sea Region, valuable networking opportunities, and the chance to explore the captivating city of Oulu, designated as the European Capital of Culture for 2026.
As part of the event, the CBSS will present the BSR Cultural Pearls project, led by the CBSS and funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme.
The BSTF 2024 is supported by the CBSS Finnish Presidency and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland, City of Oulu, Visit Finland, Visit Oulu and Interreg Baltic Sea Region. The event is organised by the EUSBSR PA Tourism coordinators: the Council of Oulu Region (FI) and Pomorskie Tourist Board (PL) with guests and speakers from all EUSBSR countries and beyond.
