Webinar: Child Participation in Disaster Risk Reduction activities (in Finnish)

Register now for a webinar, in Finnish, on child participation in disaster risk reduction activities.

On 30 September 2024, join a webinar by the Secure Kids project on child participation in disaster risk reduction (DRR) to deepen your knowledge about participation of children and young people in your work. This webinar will be held in Finnish, specifically addressing Finnish participants. (More webinars on the topic will be held in national languages throughout autumn 2024.)

The event will present a tool (step-by-step guide) developed in the Secure Kids project for involving children and young people, especially in DRR activities.

The webinar will also include examples of successful ways to involve children and young people, and finally participants will discuss together in small groups in what kind of situations children and young people could be included in when it comes to safety work.

The aim of the webinar is to increase the participants’ understanding of the participation of children and young people, its importance, and benefits, especially in preventive activities.
