Conference: What is the new normal in societal security?

What is societal security? How do we define and analyse crises? When does a crisis start, and when does it end? And especially, how do we define “the new normal”?

These are some of the questions that we will discuss, together with teachers, practitioners and students in the Baltic Sea Region, at the conference “What is the new normal on societal security?”. We will talk about the pandemic, climate change, youth & security, and cyber security, and students will have the possibility to actively contribute to discussions on this emerging theme in societal security.

The event is hosted by Riga Technical University in collaboration with the CBSS Secretariat under the umbrella of the project Needs-based education and studies in societal security (NEEDS), supported by Erasmus+
