Training: Acute Crisis Interventions – Support for child victims of sexual exploitation, trafficking, and online sexual abuse during the first critical days after disclosure or a child police interview

This 2-hour training is on a model developed by Linda Jonsson and Anette Birgersson for child victims of trafficking for sexual purposes, sexual exploitation and technology-facilitated sexual abuse, in the first critical days after a disclosure or a child investigative interview.
The training is intended for professionals in Barnahus with an interests or role in crisis support and/or case management. While providing an opportunity to reflect on and discuss your work with these cases, the training will look at:
- The impact of trafficking and exploitation on children;
- The acute needs that these children have;
- An overview of existing crisis support models;
- Presentation of the acute crisis support model, “ISA”.
Project TRM
Project TRM is a two-year project co-funded by the EU which aims to strengthen multidisciplinary interagency services to address the specific needs of child victims of trafficking and exploitation. The project partners include Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) and Child Circle.
