The new CREWS project will strengthen disaster resilience in the Baltic Sea Region by enhancing cooperation between authorities and civil society in crisis management.

Two new projects involving the CBSS have been approved for EU funding and are set to begin in early 2025, focusing on climate resilience and volunteerism in disaster risk reduction.

BSR-NOVA, a newly formed network to elevate the role of volunteers in civil protection and crisis resilience, kicked-off in September 2024.
