Baltic Excellence Programme 2024 in Helsinki
The Ministry of the Interior of Finland, supported by the Swedish Defence University, is organising the Baltic Excellence Programme 2024 in Helsinki, Finland.
The Baltic Excellence Programme (BEP) is a study programme for civil security actors in the Baltic Sea Region. The programme offers a forum for the exchange of best practices and strives to find ways to develop multi-stakeholder and cross-border cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region.
The BEP 2024 is organised in Vuosaari, Helsinki on 18-21 March 2024. The themes will include preparedness and self-preparedness, civil defence and comprehensive security with a focus on local civil society activities for safety and security. This enhances the shared understanding of the security culture in the Baltic Sea Region.
This 3-day seminar will consist of lectures, workshops and field visits to civil defence shelters. The programme is addressed to experts, volunteers and professionals, from around the Baltic Sea Region.
