The Expert Group on Sustainable Maritime Economy (EGSME) recently met in Berlin to explore the potential of green shipping corridors, a key component for developing carbon-neutral, resilient, and well-connected transport networks in the Baltic Sea Region.

During the Baltic Sea Region Youth Forum (BSRYF) Kick-off and Election Meeting on April 19, the newly established Committee of Youth Representatives (CYR) and Steering Group (SG) were elected. The BSRYF is a structure to enhance meaningful youth participation and will be fully operational by July 1, 2023.
On 17-18 April 2023, the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) organises a project workshop with experts from the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) to identify existing gaps and challenges in climate change adaptation in the region and to develop the project concept for a future project aimed to improve the capacity of smaller towns and municipalities in approaching climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction.

The Council of the Baltic Sea States, in partnership with the German Federal Foreign Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, and the German Energy-Agency (dena), is organising the Baltic Offshore Wind Forum, which will take place on 9 May 2023 at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, Germany.
