Safe & Secure Region
Our goal is to make everyone feel safe and secure and at home in every corner of our region. We strive to improve the well-being of our communities, build networks and trust to jointly respond to unexpected hazards and emergencies.
Our vision is being realised through well-developed networks between experts, officials and professionals in the relevant fields and through project work.
To protect our societies, the CBSS works with civil protection professionals and also has also two specialised groups to protect the most vulnerable: Expert Group on Children at Risk and the Task Force Against Trafficking in Human Beings. These groups, gathering responsible ministry and authority representatives from our Member States, promote children’s rights and fight criminal acts of exploitation in its various forms.
