Pub. Oct 3, 2022 Published October 3, 2022

The Norwegian Presidency took place amidst the COVID‑19 crisis, the war in Ukraine and the subsequent suspension and withdrawal of Russia from the CBSS. Under the strong leadership of the Norwegian Presidency, the Expert Group on Children at Risk, with support of the Children at Risk Unit at the Secretariat, reinforced its commitment and work towards our vision of a Baltic Sea Region in which every child enjoys the full range human rights as set out in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The Norwegian Presidency and the members of the Expert Group on Children at Risk consistently emphasised the high value of continued collaboration and exchange on children’s rights, child protection and children at risk in the Baltic Sea Region, including in times of crisis.
