Conference: Branding the Baltic Sea Region as a Single Maritime Destination for Sustainable Coastal Tourism

The project Baltic Sea Boating (BSB) is coming to an end, and the CBSS welcomes all interested participants to register to the final conference “Branding of the Baltic Sea Region as a Single Maritime Destination for Sustainable Coastal Tourism”.

During the conference, the partners will present the outcomes of the project and will address relevant matters concerning the development of a common branding approach to support and develop sustainable maritime tourism in the Baltic Sea Region, with a special attention to small harbours and marinas.

The topics addressed at the conference feature the impact of the Covid-19 to the sector, the existing research on maritime tourism and the value of the brand of the Baltic Sea as a Single Green Tourist destination. Additionally, the Prototype of the BSR Common Route Map, outcome of the Baltic Sustainable Boating project, will be presented, together with good practices from around the BSR on sustainability and leisure tourism.
