The Estonian CBSS Presidency has published a new report outlining the Baltic Sea Region’s progress and prospects in developing marine digital twins and green shipping corridors.

A series of expert meetings and seminars in Tallinn took place under the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS), bringing together three CBSS expert groups to review ongoing work and discuss progress in areas such as civilian sheltering, green shipping corridors, and child participation, in line with Estonia’s priorities. The Presidency concludes on 30 June 2025.

CBSS maritime experts will address the Estonian CBSS Presidency’s initiatives on Green Shipping Corridors and Digital Twins, aiming to map ongoing activities and strengthen regional cooperation.

CBSS experts met to prepare the prolongation of the EGSME group dealing with sustainable maritime economy.

Green shipping corridors and cruise ship food waste take the spotlight at the first CBSS EGSME expert seminar under the Finnish Presidency. Held on 12 October 2023 in Turku, Finland, the event brought together over 40 participants to address these pressing issues.
