The European Forum against Human Trafficking For Forced Labour And Labour Exploitation
The Council of the Baltic Sea States and the National Coordination against Prostitution and Trafficking in Human Beings at the Swedish Gender Equality Agency ask you to save the date for the European Forum against Human Trafficking for Forced Labour and Labour Exploitation, taking place on 7-8 December 2023 in Stockholm.
Human trafficking for forced labour and labour exploitation is surpassing sexual exploitation as the most recorded form of human trafficking form in an increasing number of states in Europe. Globally, the number of victims of this crime is increasing while the number of convictions is decreasing.
The Forum will approach the issue of labour exploitation from a broad perspective and will gather participants, such as decision-makers from the national level and EU level, trade union representatives, national focal points, labour inspectorates, law enforcement agencies, migration agencies, lawyers and national coordinators, civil society organisations and academia.
More information will be available soon.
